Studio Talk: Creation of a Cookbook & VIP Tasting

A visual and gustatory journey through food philosophy with renowned chefs Roxana Jullapat and Dan Mattern and photographer Noé Montes. First, experience a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the development of their first cookbook, Cook’s Almanac, along with a discussion panel moderated by Rudy Espinoza, Executive Director of LURN. Next, enjoy a private viewing of the Emerging exhibit at the Annenberg Space for Photography. Then savor select dishes from Cook’s Almanac as Mattern and Jullapat cook up a small plates tasting featuring spretzels, taleggio toast, roasted grapes, fat asparagus and apricot brown butter bars. Pair your meal with a glass of wine or sample a selection of beers from Eagle Rock Brewery.
